Suprise! Suprise! Nexus 5 users. You can guess the surprise news from post title itself. Android 4.4.1 for Nexus 5? Yes, it is Google announced Android 4.4.1 for Nexus 5 with some improvements made for the camera. Android 4.4.1 update was initially posted in Nexus Google+ page.

Recent update is just to improve the camera of Nexus 5 by improving faster focusing, low light photos, high contrast, white balancing, true colors, pinch-zoom and less shutter lag. In just five weeks Google updated their latest Android version with amazing camera features. And it may turn normal photographer into an expert as it got some major ingredients within it.

According to the Google+ post,

HDR+ lets you to take great shots in challenging environments, say where there’s a large contrast of bright and dark portions of the scene and also in low light situations. When you press the shutter button, instead of taking just one picture, we take a burst of shots in about 1/3 of a second, and apply computational photography to intelligently fuse images together.

The update was first spotted by The Verge, and they had showed some images captured using Nexus 5 before the update and after the update. By viewing the sample images sure you can believe in the latest update that how far Google had improved their Nexus 5 camera.
