Sammobile Confirms About The Fingerprint Sensor in Samsung Galaxy S5

From the launch date of iPhone 5S, all other mobile brands were compelled to do something new with their next products due to the fingerprint identity sensor concept in iPhone 5S. A well-known competitor of Apple in recent trend is Samsung, where both brands has some wealthy warfare within them and come out with an astonishing technology in their products. And Samsung yet to introduce a mobile model which is equally designed to compete with iPhone 5s, but a rumor spreading that Samsung Galaxy 5S would have fingerprint sensor, 3GB RAM and lots more interesting specs. It remains as rumor as we didn’t get any official confirmation from Samsung. But it’s time to reveal the Samsung Galaxy 5S specs.

According to Sammobile, it’s confirmed that Samsung Galaxy 5S is equipped with a fingerprint sensor and they explained how Samsung implemented it. Sources say that, Samsung has implemented the sensor into the Galaxy S5’s home button and you would need to swipe the entire pad of your finger, from base to tip, across the home key to register your fingerprint properly. The sensor would literally work when you use wet fingers, sometimes it would give you an error and tell you to dry your fingers first.

To be noted that, Samsung created a Personal Folder and Private Mode has been developed, where you will be able to hide personal apps, widgets, and content you want to keep private. To access those files you would need to swipe your registered finger over the home key after tapping on the home key. You can also sign in to different websites, without needing to enter your username or password ever again. And lots more to come.

The brand new Samsung Galaxy 5S will make its debut at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 24. Lets wait till the launch, and check out whether it works better than iPhone 5S or not.
