Google Rolls Out Penguin Double-Take Update

If you find a sudden fluctuation in your website’s traffic its all due to Google’s “Penguin Double-Take” update. For the past 10 days, Google has been updating their algorithm in a restless way. Google confirms about the update to Seoroundtable that “The Penguin rollout is ongoing, and this is just the effect of that”. Even though the previous week updates were “medium” kind of update, which is about 2.0 to 2.6 on a scale of 5. But today’s update is 3.07 on a scale of 5. And it is a “Penguin 3.0” update.

You can also track the algorithm changes on Google by visiting Algoroo.com. Still there is no update available on moz.com about the new algorithm change. But you can check whether your website is hit by this update or not by checking your site traffic on Google Analytics. If your site has a dip in search engine traffic than the previous weeks then your site is hit by the penguin update.
