Nokia Lumia 1020 Launched In India


Nokia has recently launched cheap camera phones for $29, and now they launched 41 mega pixel camera phone “Nokia Lumia 1020″ in India, and it will be available from October 11. The exact price details of the phone will be announced on Oct 10, and it is expected to be priced around Rs.47,000 to 48,000. Nokia Lumia 1020 is currently selling on other markets at a price of $800.

The tag line of Nokia Lumia 1020 is “Nothing else comes close” which would assure us a lot with whooping 41 mega pixel camera. Regarding the specifications of the phone it has 11.43cm display with clear black, AMOLED technology, and it has Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 with 1.5 GHz Dual core processor. It has all kinds of sensors which is mostly present in all smartphones like Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, Barometer, Gyroscope, Proximity sensor, Magnetometer. It comes out with the new wireless charging technology,and its memory specifications are of 2 GB RAM and 32 GB mass memory with free 7 GB of cloud storage.

Vipul Mehrotra Nokia India, Middle East and Africa Director (smartphone devices)  said, “It is our premium smartphone. There are 50 per cent people who click pictures with their smartphones, and a fraction of those are camera lovers, who are our target audience for this phone,”

Nokia has a strong belief on their new reinvented zoom feature, as they had already started mocking in an ad video about other brands who were considered to be their wealthy competitors.
