What is the alternative source to charge your smartphones when you are outdoor? Sure, its gonna be some solar powered chargers or you might have an additional battery with you when you move out. But here’s a 2in1 resource to get some extra space in your bag by replacing a Ray-Ban sunglass in place of your additional smartphone chargers or batteries.
A forward-thinking Indian designer Sayalee Kaluskar comes out with a cool idea by integrating solar panel in Ray-Ban sunglasses to charge smartphones. Kaluskar named the sunglass as “SHAMA SHADES” and quoted that “Turn cool into energy.” Using a solar cell in a sunglass will be new to us, and we would think that it might be a sturdy type sunglass, but its a typical Ray-Ban sunglass which is in use for many years.
Kaluskar placed the solar cell to each arm of the sunglass, so there might be no vast change made in the design other than the solar cell in a sunglass. At present you charge only iPhones using Shama Shades, and we can expect the same type of shades from other brands for all smartphones. So lets wait till we get one. Other specifications about shama shades are not yet published, and we will notify you about it when we get one.
